Job summary

Transworld Furtichem seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large fertilizer and chemical projects from planning through commissioning. You will define objectives, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, vendors and technology suppliers.

Requires 15–20 years in Project Execution/PM, experience with EPC/EPCM/PMC models, strong cost control, scheduling, reporting and MS Office/ERP proficiency. On-site leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 15 - 20 years of experience in Project Execution/Project Management.
• Fertilizer & Chemical industry project experience.
• Experience with investments exceeding 100 Crores.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, EPCM and PMC execution models.
• Experience in cost management, scheduling and progress reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with technology suppliers and EPC contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale projects from planning through execution and commissioning.
• Develop project objectives, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and technology suppliers.
• Manage Engineering, Procurement & Construction activities and ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project scope, cost, schedule, quality, resources, and overall performance.
• Manage project risks, changes, and mitigation strategies.
• Identify and manage Engineering Contractors, EPC/EPCM/PMC partners, and technology suppliers.
• Oversee project feasibility studies, site selection, and technical decision-making.
• Prepare and review project schedules, cost estimates, cost controls, and progress reports.
• Manage project budgets and conduct periodic cost and productivity analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and zero-incident objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and report project status to senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15 - 20 years of experience in Project Execution/Project Management, preferably in Fertilizer & Chemical industry projects.
• Proven experience handling projects with investments exceeding 100 Crores.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, EPCM and PMC execution models.
• Excellent understanding of Engineering, Procurement & Construction processes.
• Strong exposure to project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimation, and progress reporting.
• Experience in handling technology packages and coordinating with technology suppliers.
• Strong leadership, people management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of construction practices and procurement processes.
• Experience with Owner organizations or Engineering Companies preferred.
