Hired is seeking a passionate VP of Cloud Architecture to join our growing remote team. The role shapes operations, drives strategic initiatives, and delivers results across the department.

You will balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution to accelerate cloud initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and executing departmental strategies, overseeing budgets and forecasting, ensuring performance and security standards, and guiding design, code, and testing practices.

Qualifikationen

• 8–10+ years in a senior or leadership role in cloud/IT.
• Proficiency with cloud architectures and security standards.
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Develop and execute high-level departmental cloud strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, communicate, and execute high-level overarching departmental strategies.
• Develop and execute comprehensive automated and manual testing protocols.
• Design, write, and deploy clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Manage complex departmental budgets, strategic forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure software applications adhere to strict performance and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• High-level proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• 8-10+ years of demonstrated, progressive success in a relevant functional role.
• Highly organized methodology with a strong ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and technical frameworks.
