Crewlia is seeking a dynamic Director of Cloud Engineering to lead a fully remote, India-based team. You will shape strategy, own cloud architecture, and drive initiatives across budgets, forecasts, and delivery milestones.

You will partner with executive leadership to ensure high-performance, secure cloud environments, advocate data-driven decisions, and mentor remote engineers while maintaining flexible, outcome-focused work hours.

Job description

We are actively seeking a dynamic Director of Cloud Engineering to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our operations, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional results within your functional area. The ideal candidate will combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on, tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex departmental budgets, strategic forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to drive core company milestones.
• Maintain and optimize critical IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Develop, communicate, and execute high-level overarching departmental strategies.
• Ensure software applications adhere to strict performance and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, primarily Git.
• Highly organized methodology with a strong ability to prioritize effectively.
• High-level proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and technical frameworks.
