Job summary

Rempact seeks an experienced VP - Non-EB Claims to lead and manage the Pan-India Non-EB Claims function. The role focuses on end-to-end claims operations, settlements, and building strong insurer, surveyor, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Non-EB claims and a proven track record of leading teams across India. Bangalore-based, with a Monday–Friday workweek and senior leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business (preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in Non-EB insurance claims, with leadership across India.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Pan-India Non-EB Claims team, ensuring performance and service delivery.
• Oversee the complete claims lifecycle: evaluation, documentation, assessment, negotiation, settlement.
• Handle complex, high-value, escalated claims with timely resolution.
• Build strong relationships with insurers, surveyors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Drive adherence to policy terms, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
• Establish and improve claims processes, SOPs, and governance mechanisms.
• Monitor claims performance, TATs, ageing, settlements, escalations, and metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Mentor and develop claims leaders across locations.
• Prepare and present claims reports and insights to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Non-EB claims and a proven track record of leading and managing teams across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Pan-India Non-EB Claims team, ensuring effective performance and service delivery.
• Oversee the complete claims lifecycle, including evaluation, documentation, assessment, negotiation, and settlement.
• Handle complex, high-value, and escalated claims while ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, surveyors, clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Drive adherence to policy terms, regulatory requirements, and internal claims processes.
• Establish and improve claims processes, SOPs, service standards, and governance mechanisms.
• Monitor claims performance, TATs, ageing, settlements, escalations, and other key metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve claims efficiency, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.

• Prepare and present claims reports, insights, and performance updates to senior management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in Non-EB insurance claims, with significant experience in leading teams across India.
