Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking a Head - Non-Motor Claims in Mumbai to lead a high-impact Non-Motor and Commercial Claims function within a leading General Insurance organization.

You will drive governance, optimize operations, and elevate customer experience, while mentoring senior teams and collaborating with surveyors, TPAs, and internal partners for transformed claims performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of General Insurance experience with strong leadership in Non-Motor/Commercial Claims.
• Exposure to Commercial Insurance claims (Property, Fire & Engineering, Marine, Liability).
• Proven ability to manage large claims portfolios, teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong governance, policy interpretation, regulatory compliance, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Non-Motor Claims operations across Commercial Insurance portfolios.
• Manage complex and high-value claims with timely assessment and settlement.
• Drive performance, reduce TAT, improve claims quality and customer experience.
• Manage relationships with surveyors, investigators, TPAs, legal partners, and internal stakeholders.

A leading General Insurance organization offering an opportunity to lead large-scale Non-Motor Claims operations, work with senior stakeholders, and drive claims transformation, governance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities –

• Lead end-to-end Non-Motor Claims operations across Commercial Insurance portfolios, including Property, Fire & Engineering, Marine, Liability, and other non-motor products.
• Manage complex and high-value claims, ensuring timely assessment, settlement, compliance, and effective resolution of escalations.
• Lead claims teams, drive performance, improve TAT, productivity, claims quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with surveyors, investigators, TPAs, legal partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders across underwriting, finance, legal, reinsurance, and distribution.
• Drive claims analytics, governance, fraud/leakage control, process improvement, automation, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements –

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of overall experience in General Insurance, with strong leadership experience in Non-Motor / Commercial Claims.
• Strong exposure to Commercial Insurance claims, particularly Property, Fire & Engineering, Marine, Liability, and other Non-Motor lines.
• Proven experience in managing large claims portfolios, complex claims, teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of claims governance, policy interpretation, regulatory compliance, claims analytics, and process improvement.
