Movate Technologies is hiring a Tier 2 VoIP Engineer - NOC in Ambattur, Chennai. The role requires 2+ years in technical support or network engineering with strong networking, VoIP, SIP, and troubleshooting expertise.

You will analyze SIP traces, PCAPs, and logs, handling complex escalations and ensuring SLA adherence. The position demands CCNA/Network+ certification or equivalent and excellent communication skills.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Handle complex technical escalations from Tier 1 support teams.
• Troubleshoot VoIP, SIP registration, call routing, call quality, and network issues.
• Analyze SIP traces, PCAPs, and platform logs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN networks and voice platforms.
• Diagnose issues related to SIP flows, RTP, DTMF, QoS, and codec negotiations.
• Coordinate with Tier 3, Voice Engineering, and Advanced Operations teams.
• Manage technical cases, ensure SLA compliance, and provide timely customer updates.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify recurring technical issues.
• Maintain detailed troubleshooting documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Mentor and support Tier 1 engineers with advanced techniques.

We are looking for experienced Technical Support Engineers with strong expertise in Networking, VoIP, SIP, and advanced troubleshooting to join our technical support team.

Job Details:

• Position: Tier 2 VoIP Engineer - NOC
• Experience: 2+ Years
• Qualification: CCNA / Network+ or equivalent certification mandatory
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex technical escalations from Tier 1 support teams.
• Troubleshoot VoIP, SIP registration, call routing, call quality, and network-related issues.
• Analyze SIP traces, packet captures (PCAPs), and platform logs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN networks and voice platforms.
• Diagnose issues related to SIP flows, RTP, DTMF, QoS, and codec negotiations.
• Coordinate with Tier 3, Voice Engineering, and Advanced Operations teams for complex issues.
• Manage technical cases, ensure SLA compliance, and provide timely customer updates.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify recurring technical issues.
• Maintain detailed troubleshooting documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Mentor and support Tier 1 engineers with advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Technical Support or Network Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Networking – Layer 2 & Layer 3.
• Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and networking hardware.
• Strong understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, DTMF, and QoS.
• Experience in SIP troubleshooting, call flows, and call quality analysis.
• CCNA, Network+, or equivalent networking certification, or demonstrated equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
• Knowledge of OSPF/BGP routing protocols.
• Experience analyzing SIP traces and PCAP files.
• Familiarity with BroadWorks/BroadSoft hosted voice platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers in a Tier 2/Tier 3 support environment.
