Job summary

Osseous Surgicals is seeking a skilled VMC Programmer cum Design Engineer in Morbi, Gujarat. The candidate will handle VMC/CNC programming and independent mechanical design, with strong 3D modelling expertise using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Siemens NX.

Ideal fit has 2–5 years of experience in VMC programming and operation, with proficiency in Mastercam, Fusion 360 and CAM software. Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC/VMC/Sliding Head programs using G-code, M-code & CAM software (Mastercam / Fusion 360 / Power Mill).
• Independently set up VMC machines, select tools, set cutting parameters and do trial runs.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Inspect finished components using precision instruments like Vernier, Micrometre, Bore Gauge.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle time and accuracy.
• 2D,3D Programming
• Design orthopaedic implants, instruments, jigs & fixtures using SolidWorks, AutoCAD & Siemens NX.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and assembly drawings as per requirements.
• Modify existing designs and develop new products.
• Collaborate with production and QC team to ensure design feasibility.
