Job summary

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or related technical field.
• 2–5+ years CNC/VMC programming and setting experience preferred.
• Ability to read 2D drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC/VMC programs from component drawings.
• Set and operate CNC/VMC machines for production.
• Read and understand 2D drawings, GD&T, and machining requirements.
• Select cutting tools, inserts, holders, and machining parameters.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and offsets adjustments.
• Carry out first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Use measurement tools like Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge.
• Monitor cycles and optimize for productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to maintain standards.

We are looking for experienced

CNC & VMC – Programmer & Setter

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced CNC & VMC Programmers and Setters to handle machine programming, setting, tooling, and production activities. The candidate should be capable of setting up machines and producing components as per engineering drawings, dimensional requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC/VMC programs as per component drawings.
• Set and operate CNC/VMC machines for production.
• Read and understand 2D engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and machining parameters.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, work offset, and tool offset adjustments.
• Set fixtures, work holding devices, and components correctly.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Use Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining cycles and optimize programs for productivity and quality.
• Identify and resolve basic machining, tooling, and dimensional issues.
• Reduce cycle time and improve tool life wherever possible.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to maintain required standards.
• Maintain machine, tools, fixtures, and work area properly.
• Follow production schedules, quality procedures, and safety requirements.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates with experience in precision machining, steel components, CNC turning, VMC machining, production tooling, and export-quality manufacturing will be preferred.
