• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 46 years of hands‑on experience in VMC machining.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize manual VMC programs; conduct feasibility studies for new products.
• Analyze and reduce cycle times; optimize cutting parameters, tool selection, and coolant management to extend tool life.
• Prepare detailed process sheets, tooling layouts, standard operation instructions, and fixture plans.
• Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), machine utilization, and productivity metrics to minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis on machining defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the shop floor.
• Partner with Design, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet execution targets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming & Process Setup: Develop, test, and optimize manual VMC programs; conduct feasibility studies and assess manufacturability for new products.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and reduce cycle times; optimize cutting parameters, tool selection, and coolant management to extend tool life.
• Documentation & Planning: Prepare detailed process sheets, tooling layouts, standard operation instructions, and fixture plans.
• Productivity & Metrics: Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), machine utilization, and productivity metrics to minimize downtime.
• Quality & Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis on machining defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lean & Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the shop floor.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet execution targets safely and efficiently.
