Job summary

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited in India seeks a skilled operator to run and maintain CNC machines, focusing on Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) with 3, 4, and 5-axis capabilities. You will set up and machine components for aerospace, tooling, oil & gas, and nuclear projects.

Candidates should be proficient in milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, and related processes, read engineering drawings, use inspection tools, and perform basic machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, specifically Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) with 3, 4, and 5-axis capabilities.
• Set up and machine components for aerospace, aerospace tooling, oil & gas, and nuclear projects.
• Proficient in milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, fine boring, thread milling, and engraving.
• Knowledge of cutting tools including milling cutters, endmills, taps, reamers, and thread mills.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Use measuring tools and inspection techniques to ensure accuracy.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on the machines and troubleshoot malfunctions and tooling problems.
• Maintain accurate production records, including tracking materials and reporting any issues.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a basic understanding of 5S principles and the ability to work in all 3 shifts.
