Job summary

VARITE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in Bangalore seeks a VMware consultant for a contract role. You will perform VCF 9.x build/LCM upgrades and work with NSX and HCX, providing high-level HCX knowledge and coordinating with HCX and Network teams.

The role requires staff augmentation, comfortable with shift patterns and possible on-call/work weekends. The ideal candidate has deep NSX/HCX/VCF skills and experience with vRA remediation and VCF9.1 prep, migration HCX capabilities, and a strong focus on VCF

About The Job

• Role will be required to perform upgrades and general maintenance of NSX and HCX.
• Good knowledge of both products is needed (note HCX requires upgrade knowledge, not use of the tool to perform migrations).
• This is a staff augmentation role, working with the existing Broadcom team of 9 within the Brokerage Firm SDN Ops Team, under the customer's direction.
• Must be comfortable with working shift patterns and possible weekend/on-call activities.

Essential Job Functions

1. VCF 9.x Build and LCM Upgrade Skills

The candidate should have hands-on experience with new VCF build and deployment projects, as well as VCF upgrade activities from VCF 5.x to VCF 9.x.

2. NSX and VCF Skills (HCX High-Level Knowledge Required)

The candidate should have experience working with NSX and possess high-level HCX knowledge. The role requires supporting customer bridge calls, explaining technical issues, and working closely with both the HCX and Network teams as an intermediate-level team member. Candidate need to work more on NSX.
