Job summary

Trane Technologies in Bangalore seeks a Visualization & Product Development Analyst to build dashboards and analytics products. You will translate business needs into scalable visual outputs using Tableau, Looker, and Dataiku, ensuring reliability and quality across the analytics pipeline.

You will validate data, collaborate with stakeholders, and document processes while delivering user-friendly insights that drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in BI, analytics, dashboards, or reporting.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, Dataiku or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with testing, validation, and documentation for dashboards.
• Experience with SQL, Python or other data analysis tools is preferred
• Experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Master’s degree is a plus.

The Role

The Visualization & Product Development Analyst supports dashboard delivery and analytics product development that convert priority data into usable business insights. This role is important to sustaining dashboard delivery and pipeline development that convert priority data into usable business insights across the organization. This position is a development and delivery role that combines visualization expertise, analytical capability, and product-oriented execution. The individual will build dashboards, reporting products, and analytics solutions using platforms such as Tableau, Google Looker, and Dataiku in ways that are scalable, reliable, and aligned to business needs. This role will work closely with stakeholders and partner teams to translate defined requirements into intuitive, business-facing outputs that support effective decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, quality-minded, and skilled in data storytelling, testing, documentation, and reporting execution. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building polished analytics products, validating data accuracy, and ensuring delivered solutions are reliable, maintainable, and easy for end users to understand and adopt. This role will be based at our Bangalore, India office and will report directly to the Visualization & Product Development Leader for ISC.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate defined business requirements into dashboards, visualizations, and analytical outputs that support business priorities by converting data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Build analytics and reporting solutions using Tableau, Google Looker, Dataiku, and related tools in a scalable, reliable, and maintainable manner.
• Apply strong data storytelling practices to create intuitive, user-friendly, and decision-oriented reporting products.
• Perform data validation, testing, and quality checks to ensure dashboards, reports, and analytics products are accurate and reliable.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, dashboard enhancement opportunities, and user experience requirements.
• Identify gaps in dashboards, reporting processes, and data structures, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen usability and performance.
• Document dashboard logic, metric display rules, testing outcomes, reporting requirements, and related processes to support consistency and scalability.
• Present visualizations, findings, and recommendations in a clear and business-relevant manner to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple deliverables effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, dashboard development, reporting, or a related field.
• Experience working with Tableau, Google Looker, Dataiku, or similar analytics and visualization platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in reporting and analytics delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with testing, validation, and documentation practices for dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis and automation tools is preferred.
• Exposure to data quality, reporting standards, and visualization best practices is a plus.
• Experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
