In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current & next line of exciting products. As a Tech Lead, you will collaborate closely with the design & cross-functional teams to build industry-relevant products that meet the required specifications for our global customers. The projects could be in the areas of Productivity, New product development, Quality and reliability, Agile, New technology platform, and others.

Where Is The Work:

This position is an on-site role based out of Chennai.

What You Will Do:

• Apply expert knowledge to provide high-level and low-level design
• Apply expert knowledge to develop application software using the Ruby/Rust language
• Design and develop modular applications and libraries
• Engage actively with scrum teams and drive multiple module development in the scrum team
• Lead the team members to achieve shared sprint goals
• Analyse, recreate, and resolve defects effectively
• Identify and suggest improvements for products and their quality
• Guide peers
• Work on new product development, new technology initiatives, ideation activities & productivity improvements

What You Will Bring:

• Must have at least a B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience of 7-9 years in development, coding, unit testing, and debugging software.
• Must be strong in programming with Ruby/Rust
• Familiarity with OOAD
• Experience with Agile Development Practices and Embedded Systems is desirable
• Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS is desirable
• Familiarity with Linux OS is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is desirable
• Familiarity with other programming languages like Go, Java, etc. is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Google Protocol Buffers is an added advantage
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with remote teams located in multiple geographic locations
