Job summary
Clover Infotech in Mumbai is seeking an experienced VisionPLUS Application Support Engineer/Analyst to deliver L1/L2 production support for VisionPLUS banking apps. You will monitor batch jobs, online transactions, system health, and troubleshoot incidents across CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS and VMx using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS.
Coordination with development, infrastructure, database, testing and vendor teams will be essential.

- Experience providing L1/L2 production support for VisionPLUS banking applications.
- Experience in handling incidents, problem and change management in ITSM environments.
- Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS in production support contexts.

Role: VisionPLUS Application Support Engineer / Analyst
Experience: Typically 28 years, depending on L1/L2/L3 responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for VisionPLUS applications.
- Monitor batch jobs, online transactions, application alerts and system health.
- Troubleshoot incidents related to VisionPLUS modules such as CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS and VMx.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes and provide permanent fixes or workarounds.
- Monitor and troubleshoot JCL/batch failures and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Work with COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS programs for issue analysis and fixes.
- Perform impact analysis for application changes and defects.
- Handle incident, problem and change-management activities using ITSM tools.
- Prepare RCA, incident reports, SOPs and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, testing and vendor teams.
- Support release deployments, patches, production implementation and post-deployment validation.
- Participate in production calls/on-call support when required.
- Support enhancements and maintenance activities in the VisionPLUS environment. A APEX 2000+1
Required Technical Skills
- VisionPLUS: CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS/VMx
- Mainframe: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS
- Batch processing and job scheduling
- Mainframe troubleshooting and debugging
- DB2/SQL knowledge is useful
- Tools such as Endevor, Changeman, Control-M, File-Aid
- Incident/Problem/Change management
- ITIL/ServiceNow or similar ITSM exposure
