Job summary

Infosys Consulting is seeking a professional to join its project delivery team. You will support the consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.

You will explore alternatives to recommended solutions, create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be processes and detailed functional designs, and work with clients to refine data and deliver high-quality value-adding results.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role will be to support the consulting team in phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, publicly available information, vendor evaluation information, and build POCs.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• Support configuring solution requirements on products; diagnose root causes, seek clarifications, and identify and shortlist solution alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality value-adding solutions to customers. Work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data.
• Maintain awareness of latest technologies and trends.
• Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills and collaborate effectively.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest technology solutions.
• Possess one or two industry domain knowledge areas.
