Job summary

Coforge is seeking a V+ Developer CMS specialist to work on VisionPLUS CMS modules in the credit card domain. You will lead medium-to-large projects, mentor juniors, and collaborate with architects and SMEs to deliver robust solutions.

You will design, code, test, and deploy COBOL-based solutions in a CICS/VSAM/JCL environment, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to continuous improvement of performance and resiliency.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years core development and support experience in VisionPLUS product in credit card processing domain
• Execute medium to complex projects as lead and individual contributor as per the project need.
• Strong hands-on working knowledge in VisionPlus modules CMS, Statements, Embossing, Letters, Rewards
• Experience with z/OS software change management tools – Endevor and Changeman
• Understand business requirements and help solutionize custom application features for Cards
• Collaborate with architects and SMEs to drive right solution and outcomes
• Create estimates for medium to large size projects
• Design, code, test COBOL programs in COBOL/CICS/VSAM/JCL environments
• Follow standards and conduct peer reviews for quality
• Prepare deployment strategies for 24x7 Cards system and support production deployments

V+ Developer CMS

Qualification / Requirement

• 4 – 6 years core development and support experience in VisionPLUS product in credit card processing domain
• Execute medium to complex projects as lead and individual contributor as per the project need.
• Strong hands-on working knowledge in VisionPlus modules CMS, Statements, Embossing, Letters, Rewards.
• Should be experienced in z/OS Software Change Management tools – Endevor and Changeman
• Understand the Business requirements and help to solutionize custom application features and functions for Cards
• Collaborate with Architects, Solution Analysts, Subject Matter Experts from various teams to drive the right solution and outcome.
• Create estimates for medium to large size projects.
• Design, Code, Test, Debug, and Record COBOL programs in CICS/VSAM/JCL environment
• Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome
• Conduct peer review for design/code/Unit test results
• Create deployment strategy for 24x7 Cards system.
• Support production deployment and post deployment activities
• Should have strong knowledge of VisionPLUS batch & online architecture and troubleshooting experience in online area.
• Perform application support as necessary
• Participate in periodic On Call – Rota basis for Production Support.
• Participate and drive the Crisis Calls for production incidents
• Identify and work on system performance improvement, resiliency
• Mentor junior developers in the team
