Job summary

Synechron in Chennai invites an experienced VisionPLUS Developer to join our card processing domain. You will design, develop and maintain VisionPLUS modules including CMS, FAS, TRAMS, and Authorization, and contribute to production support.

You'll work on COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM, analyze business requirements, coordinate with QA and business teams, and help deliver reliable digital banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with VisionPLUS modules.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, CICS and VSAM.
• Good understanding of card payments domain.
• Experience with mainframe utilities and job scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain VisionPLUS modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, Authorization).
• Handle enhancements, fixes and production support for card processing systems.
• Develop batch and online programs using COBOL, JCL, CICS and VSAM.
• Work on credit/debit card lifecycle, transactions and reconciliation.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Coordinate with business users, QA and support teams for delivery.
