Job summary

Hackajob in India’s Pune region seeks a senior VisionPLUS Developer to join our software engineering team. You will design and implement CICS/COBOL programs on z/OS, develop batch and online VisionPlus flows, and contribute to sub-modules such as FAS and TRAMS.

• Additional Desired Skills: Rexx, MQ, CICD pipelines, Checkmarx.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vision PLUS Developer (Senior Software Engineer)

Principal responsibilities

• Proficient in developing CICS and COBOL programs on z/OS systems.
• Should have VisionPlus Functional and Architectural acumen.
• Proficient in VisionPlus Batch and Online processing flow and good working experience in one or more sub-modules (like FAS, TRAMS, ITS etc).
• Experience in Scheduling and Version control tools.
• Involved in Formal Code Reviews, Peer Reviews, Walkthroughs, Application Audits and Inspections as needed to the project and ensure compliance with application quality and corporate standards.
• Evaluate, design, code and test improvement as required to complex projects
