Job summary

Fiserv in Pune, India is seeking a Software Development Engineering – Sr Professional II with 6–8 years in VisionPLUS. You will contribute to mainframe based credit card systems, with hands-on Cobol and related tools.

You will work independently, produce technical docs, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant solutions. This role requires strong communication and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of VisionPLUS development experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of CMS and/or LMS, TRAMS or FAS subsystems.
• Experience with mainframe technologies and integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand security protocols used in credit card systems.
• Prioritize workload and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and review BRDs, FSDs and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage requirements.
• Support migration and ongoing maintenance of VisionPLUS components.

Job Description:

What does a successful VisionPLUS Developer do at Fiserv ?

Has experience of implementing/migrating /supporting Credit Cards systems; especially on mainframe technology and VisionPLUS.

What will you do:

• Should have understanding of security protocols used in Credit Cards related systems.
• Should be result oriented and must think of all aspects like business, customer, reputation, regulatory impact etc.
• Good in preparing and reviewing technical documentation like BRDs, FSD, and Architecture diagrams etc is added advantage.
• Prioritise and manage workload effectively, recognising the quick turn-around of issues/requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take responsibility.

What will you need to know:

• 6-8 years of experience in Vision+ having hands on knowledge of either of CMS (primary), and LMS or TRAMS or FAS subsystem.
• Hands on knowledge of Cobol, Sort, Jcl, Easytrieve. Added advantage if worked on Rexx, SAS, Selcopy, Flex etc.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

What would be great to have:

• Added advantage if worked on data migration projects.
