Job summary

SwitchON is a Series B deep tech startup focused on eliminating defects in manufacturing by automating Quality Inspections using AI-powered Vision Inspection systems. We are seeking rock-star Field Application Engineers to own customer deployment and ensure a world-class quality inspection system on their end.

You will visit customers for deployment, manage system inventories, collaborate with automation vendors for integration, and commission/validate systems across India with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying machine-vision based quality inspection systems.
• Experience in PLC programming.
• Experience in Electrical Panel wiring.
• Knowledge of sensors and automation systems.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and command terminals is good.
• Experience using debugging tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
• Experience setting up test setups for end-to-end testing.
• 3D CAD modeling (Autodesk Fusion 360) is good to have.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our systems capture images from high-speed manufacturing lines, run DL algorithms at real-time latency, and detect faults at upwards of 99% accuracy. We are looking for rock-star Field Application Engineers for our computer vision products who can own the customer deployment process and ensure a world-class quality inspection system on their end.

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?

• Customer visits for inspection and deployment
  
• Inventory management for the system dependencies
  
• Working collaboratively with automation vendors for system integration
  
• System commissioning and validation
  
• Support and maintenance of the system if and when required
  
• Traveling around 5-6 times a month can be expected, pan India
