Job summary

Iamittechnologies in India is seeking a VMware virtualization and storage specialist to deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments from a remote setup.

The role covers SAN/NAS storage, replication, backups, DR, and capacity planning, with focus on HA/DR, vMotion, and performance optimization, plus scripting in PowerShell/PowerCLI and exposure to Hyper-V is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in VMware virtualization and enterprise storage.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and vSAN.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions (Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, Huawei, etc.).
• Good understanding of SAN/NAS technologies (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, or Rubrik.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting and Hyper-V administration will be an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
