You will specialize in VMware virtualization, Linux administration, and HPE/Hitachi storage systems to design highly available environments. Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise server/storage administration.
• Proven VMware virtualization expertise (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN).
• Linux system administration with scripting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSphere environments.
• Linux server administration and automation.
• Manage enterprise storage (HPE 3PAR, Primera, Hitachi VSP) incl. replication and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability, DR, and backups for servers/storage.

RoleOverview:

WeareseekingahighlyskilledSeniorServerEngineertomanage,optimize,andsupportourenterpriseserverandstorageinfrastructure.TheidealcandidatewillhavedeepexpertiseinVMwarevirtualization,Linuxsystemsadministration,andenterprisestorageplatforms(HPE/Hitachi).Thisrolewillberesponsiblefordesigning,implementing,andmaintaininghigh-availabilityenvironments,ensuringperformance,reliability,andscalabilityacrossmission-criticalsystems.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Design,deploy,andmaintainVMwareESXi,vCenter,andvSphereenvironments.
• PerformLinuxserveradministration(RedHat,CentOS,Ubuntu)includingpatching,performancetuning,troubleshooting,andautomation.
• ManageandsupportHPE3PAR,Primera,HitachiVSPorequivalententerprisesystems(provisioning,zoning,replication,performancemonitoring).
• Ensurehighavailability,disasterrecovery,andbackupstrategiesforserversandstorage.
• Leadrootcauseanalysis(RCA)forcomplexserver/storageissuesandimplementpermanentfixes.
• Collaboratewithapplication,network,andsecurityteamsforinfrastructureintegration.
• Developandmaintaintechnicaldocumentation,standardoperatingprocedures(SOPs),andcapacityreports.
• Implementandoptimizemonitoringsolutionsforproactiveinfrastructuremanagement.
• Participateininfrastructureupgrade,migration,andconsolidationprojects.
• Mentorjuniorengineersandprovidetechnicalguidanceforescalatedissues.

RequiredSkills&Experience:

• 7+yearsofexperienceinenterpriseserver/storageadministration.
• Stronghands-onexperiencewithVMwarevirtualizationtechnologies(ESXi,vCenter,vSphere,vSAN,vMotion,HA,DRS).
• ExpertiseinLinux(RHEL,CentOS,Ubuntu)systemadministration,scripting(Bash,Python,orAnsiblepreferred).
• ProvenexperiencewithHPE(3PAR,Primera)andHitachiVSPstoragesystemsincludingreplication,thinprovisioning,andperformancetuning.
• KnowledgeofSAN/NAStechnologies,zoning,multipathing,andfabricmanagement(Brocade/CiscoMDS).
• Familiaritywithbackupsolutions(Veeam,Commvault,NetBackup)anddisasterrecoveryprocesses.
• Strongtroubleshooting,analytical,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Experienceincapacityplanning,performanceoptimization,andinfrastructureautomation.
• Excellentcommunicationskillsandabilitytoworkincross-functionalteams.
