Job summary

CREATIKARTTA is seeking a Video Editor Intern in Dehradun to learn and grow in digital content creation. You will collaborate with social media, creative, and marketing teams to craft engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, and ads, with opportunities for full-time employment based on performance.

You will gain hands-on experience editing for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos, while refining storytelling, color, and sound design under guidance from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of editing software (Premiere Pro/DaVinci/Final Cut/CapCut).
• Good grasp of cuts, transitions, pacing, music, captions, and basic color correction.
• Strong interest in social media content and video editing.
• Creative storytelling and ability to implement feedback.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern who wants to learn and grow in the field of digital content creation. You will work closely with our social media, creative, and marketing teams to create engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, ads, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media
• Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, and promotional content
• Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music, B-roll, and other elements to make videos engaging
• Understand social media trends and create content suited to different platforms
• Work on video creatives for digital marketing campaigns and advertisements
• Maintain consistency in brand style, editing quality, and visual language
• Coordinate with the content and social media teams to understand video requirements
• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines
• Organise and manage raw footage and project files properly

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro / CapCut or similar editing software
• Good understanding of cuts, transitions, pacing, music, captions, and basic color correction
• Strong interest in social media content and video editing
• Good sense of creativity and storytelling
• Ability to understand feedback and make quick improvements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
• Freshers and students with a good portfolio are welcome to apply

Good to Have

• Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics
• Basic understanding of Instagram and YouTube trends
• Experience creating Reels/Shorts
• Basic knowledge of sound design and color gradingPrevious experience with content creation or digital marketing
