Job summary

tecHindustan offers an on-site internship in Mohali (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district) for 3–6 months. You will edit videos for social media, create Reels and Shorts, and enhance footage with transitions, audio, and effects.

Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to deliver engaging campaigns while ensuring brand consistency. You should be pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree and bring a portfolio.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• A portfolio or sample editing work (academic, personal, freelance, or social media projects) is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning and experimenting with creative content.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
• Trim, arrange, and enhance raw footage with transitions, music, subtitles, and sound effects.
• Add basic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with the marketing, branding, and design teams to create engaging campaigns.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain consistent quality.
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
• Organize project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, AI-powered editing tools, and social media content styles.

What You'll Do

• Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Understanding of video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and export settings.
• Basic knowledge of color correction and audio editing.
• Creative storytelling and visual composition skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Good to Have

• Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok-style videos.
• Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools such as CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Runway, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of photography or videography.

Eligibility
