Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal. The Video Editor will work closely with creative directors, designers, and copywriters to edit brand films, promotional videos, social media content, and reels that align with campaign objectives and brand strategy. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying transitions, balancing audio, and performing color correction and grading to achieve a consistent visual style. The role also involves creating basic motion graphics and integrating visual assets such as titles, lower thirds, and simple animations to enhance storytelling. The Video Editor will manage project files, maintain organized archives, collaborate in brainstorming sessions, and deliver final exports optimized for various platforms while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including working with raw footage, timelines, and multi-format outputs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and quality across diverse projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, and simple animations that support narrative and branding.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media video formats and best practices are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative teams, manage time effectively, and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, and a portfolio showcasing past video work will be considered an advantage.
