Job summary

PhotonX Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Senior Video Editor to join our creative team. You will transform raw footage into polished videos for digital, social, or commercial platforms, ensuring pacing and visual storytelling align with our brand.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional editing experience, expert Premiere Pro, and familiarity with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, plus a strong showreel and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Experience with color grading and basic sound design/audio mixing.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under deadline pressure.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating past work (mandatory to attach with application).
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality final videos for social media, marketing, and promotional use.
• Work closely with the creative/marketing team to understand project briefs and maintain creative consistency.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
• Perform color correction/grading and audio mixing/sound design.
• Create rough cuts and final edits, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects/timelines simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Organize and maintain project files, footage, and media assets systematically.
• Ensure all final deliverables meet technical specs for the intended platform (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Stay updated with editing trends, formats, and techniques.
