Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production tasks, including assembling raw footage, cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions, and synchronizing audio and video. The role involves color grading, adding motion graphics and basic visual effects, and integrating titles, graphics, and sound to create polished, engaging videos. The Video Editor will collaborate with directors, producers, and other creative team members to interpret briefs, refine storylines, and deliver content that aligns with client branding and project objectives. The position also requires organizing project files, maintaining asset libraries, and meeting production timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including handling footage, understanding shooting basics, and collaborating effectively with the production team.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing, with proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Color Grading, including correcting exposure and color balance and creating consistent visual styles across projects.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and integrating brand elements.
• Relevant additional qualifications include attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, time management, and the capacity to work on multiple projects under deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing completed video projects is required; formal education in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
