Job summary

Indian Wedding Tales in Indore is seeking a full-time Video Editor to craft wedding films and highlight reels that capture emotion and storytelling. You will organize raw footage from multiple cameras, apply color correction and grading, add transitions and motion graphics, and ensure timely delivery.

Collaborating with cinematographers and the creative team, you will maintain brand consistency and tailor edits for social media and client previews.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling multi-camera wedding or event footage.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain a consistent, cinematic look across wedding films.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance titles, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Good sense of music selection, pacing, and emotional storytelling tailored to wedding narratives.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iteration.
• Prior experience in wedding or event video editing is preferred; a portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work is highly beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Indore. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing wedding films and highlight reels, selecting and arranging footage, syncing audio, and crafting emotionally engaging narratives that align with the brand’s storytelling style. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage from multiple camera sources, applying color correction and grading, adding transitions and basic motion graphics, and ensuring smooth delivery of final videos within timelines. The role also involves collaborating closely with cinematographers and the creative team to maintain brand consistency, experimenting with new edit styles, and preparing video versions for different platforms such as social media and client previews. The Video Editor will be expected to manage project files systematically, respond to client feedback professionally, and contribute creative ideas to elevate the visual storytelling of Indian Wedding Tales.
