Video Editor

1 Position | Full-Time | Onsite, Indore

MIDGROW is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands short-form content, social media trends and visual storytelling.

This role is not just about cutting footage together. You should understand what makes content engaging, have a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and be able to turn raw footage or a creative brief into compelling social media content.

What You'll Do

• - Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements and social media content.
• - Transform raw footage into engaging, platform-ready short-form videos.
• - Work on hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music and visual elements.
• - Edit content according to brand guidelines, creative briefs and campaign objectives.
• - Understand and implement current Instagram/Reels editing trends and formats.
• - Create multiple variations of hooks, intros, transitions and edits for content testing.
• - Work closely with content strategists, social media managers, UGC creators and the creative team.
• - Edit videos for multiple brands and different target audiences.
• - Assist with basic motion graphics, animations and visual effects where required.
• - Maintain consistency in visual style, branding and overall video quality.
• - Organize and manage project files, footage and editing assets efficiently.
• - Stay updated with emerging video editing trends, creator formats and social media content styles.
• - Participate in client shoots and in-office content production when required.

What We're Looking For

• - Strong interest in video editing, social media and digital content.
• - Good understanding of short-form content and social media platforms.
• - Strong sense of timing, pacing, storytelling and visual composition.
• - Ability to understand hooks, CTAs, audience retention and content formats.
• - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar editing software.
• - Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction and sound design is a plus.
• - Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• - Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• - Good communication and collaboration skills.
• - Willingness to learn, experiment and adapt to new editing styles.
• - Previous experience in social media, advertising, agency or content creation is a plus.
• - Portfolio/Showreel is preferred and strongly encouraged.
