• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and video optimization for web and social media platforms.
• Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand and creative guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field; a portfolio demonstrating prior video work is required.

Role Description

The Video Editor role at Boffin Brains is a full-time, on-site position based in Haldwani. In this role, the Video Editor will edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and client projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project goals. Daily tasks include assembling clips, trimming and sequencing footage, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, and integrating audio, graphics, and motion elements. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and developers to understand creative briefs, refine visual storytelling, and deliver videos on schedule. The role also involves maintaining organized project files, optimizing content for different platforms, and continuously exploring new video trends and tools to enhance content quality.
