Job summary

Scrubsy, India-based D2C brand under BoldChem Sciences, is hiring a Video Editor in Gurugram to craft high-performing ad and organic content. Edit short-form videos for Meta/Google ads and social platforms with focus on pace, emotion, and storytelling.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of editing experience, a strong showreel, and proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent; knowledge of basic colour grading and motion graphics is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in video editing for short-form, ad creative, or social content.
• Strong eye for detail and storytelling.
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing style and range.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent with fundamentals, motion graphics, sound design, colour correction, and exports.

Responsibilities

• Edit video ads for Meta/Google: hook variations, demo sequences, testimonial cuts, UGC edits.
• Edit organic social content across channels: Reels, YouTube Shorts, product demos.
• Produce multiple variations of winning creatives: different hooks, CTAs, pacing.
• Assist with basic colour grading to maintain consistent visuals.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently across revisions.
• Maintain Scrubsy’s visual style and stay current with trends.

Brief

We're looking for a Video Editor who understands that a great edit isn't just about cuts - it's about pace, emotion, and story. You'll edit high-performing video ads and organic content at volume, across short-form social videos, reels, and Meta/Google ad creative, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video ads for Meta/Google: hook variations, demo sequences, testimonial cuts, UGC-style edits, etc.
• Edit organic social content across channels: Reels, YouTube Shorts, product demos, etc.
• Produce multiple variations of winning creatives: different hooks, different CTAs, different pacing
• Assist with basic colour grading and correction to maintain a consistent visual identity across content
• Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate quickly across multiple rounds of revisions
• Maintain consistent Scrubsy’s visual style
• Stay current with video trends, editing styles, and platform-native formats to keep our content fresh

What We Are Looking For

Mandatory Requirement

• 1+ year of experience in video editing - short-form, ad creative, or social content
• Eye for detail
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your editing style and range
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in any professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent, with strong knowledge of editing fundamentals, motion graphics, sound design, colour correction, keyframing, masking, and platform-specific exports

Additional Requirement

• Prior experience in D2C, consumer brands, e-commerce or startup
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is a strong plus
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools/workflows
• Experience with AI-powered video creation and editing tools for generating, enhancing, or modifying video content
• Quick to adapt to new editing, AI, and creative tools as the technology evolves
