Job summary

DIRTS, a fast-growing D2C wellness brand in India, seeks a Video Editor – Performance Creative to own editing from raw footage to performance-ready creatives.

You will craft ads for Meta and Google, focusing on retention, hooks and testing multiple variations using AI tools like Sora, Veo 3, Runway, Kling, Luma, and Pika. Based in Noida with office in Noida.

Qualifications

• Experience editing performance ads, UGC, Reels or short-form video for D2C, e-commerce, wellness, skincare, beauty or consumer brands.
• A portfolio/showreel with 3–5 relevant ads or performance creatives you've personally edited.

Responsibilities

• Edit performance video ads for Meta and Google, including UGC, founder-led, testimonial and problem-solution formats.
• Create edits designed for retention and conversion with hooks, pacing, captions, subtitles, B‑roll, sound design and motion graphics.
• Create multiple versions of the same creative for testing with different hooks and openings.
• Use AI video generation tools to create B‑roll and product shots when required.
• Review performance data (hold rate, retention, CTR, CPA) and improve future edits.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters, designers and the performance team to turn concepts into final creatives.
• Attend shoots when required and own the edit through to final export.

We sell through our own website and marketplaces, with a strong focus on paid creative and performance marketing.

We're hiring a full-time Video Editor – Performance Creative to own video editing from raw footage to final performance-ready creatives.

What You'll Work On

• Edit performance video ads for Meta and Google, including UGC, founder-led, testimonial and problem-solution formats.
• Create edits designed for retention and conversion — strong hooks, fast pacing, pattern interrupts, captions, subtitles, B-roll, sound design and text/motion graphics.
• Create multiple versions of the same creative, including different hooks, openings, pacing and angles for testing.
• Use AI video generation tools such as Sora, Veo 3, Runway, Kling, Luma and Pika to create B-roll, product shots and UGC-style footage when required.
• Combine AI-generated footage with real footage so the final creative feels natural and believable.
• Review creative performance data such as hold rate, retention, CTR and CPA, and use those insights to improve future edits.
• Work closely with scriptwriters, designers and the performance team to turn concepts and scripts into strong final creatives.
• Attend shoots when required and take ownership of the edit through to final export.

What We're Looking For

• Experience editing performance ads, UGC, Reels or short-form video for D2C, e-commerce, wellness, skincare, beauty or consumer brands.
• A strong understanding of hooks, retention, pacing and short-form storytelling.
• A portfolio/showreel with 3–5 relevant ads or performance creatives you've personally edited.
• Ability to explain what worked, what didn't and how you improved the creative.
• Hands‑on experience with AI video generation tools such as Sora, Veo 3, Runway, Kling, Luma or Pika.
• Experience with AI-UGC tools such as HeyGen or Arcads is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. DaVinci Resolve or CapCut experience is also welcome.
• Comfortable handling captions, sound design, B-roll, basic motion graphics and visual effects independently.
• Able to work quickly, create variations and iterate based on feedback and performance.
• Comfortable being evaluated on creative performance and results, not just visual quality.
• Based in Noida or willing to relocate/commute to our Noida office.

This Role May Not Be For You If

• Your portfolio is mainly wedding films, cinematic films, corporate videos or festival edits.
• You have little or no experience editing for short-form or performance content.
• You've never considered retention, hooks or performance metrics while editing.
• You prefer spending weeks on one polished video rather than creating and testing multiple variations.
• You are not interested in learning or working with AI video generation tools.
• Most of your work is agency-led and you cannot show your individual contribution.
