Role Description

The Video Editor role at Creatign Studios is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos, including short-form and long-form content for digital and offline channels. Day-to-day tasks include assembling clips, refining narrative flow, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, color grading, and incorporating motion graphics and text overlays as needed. The role involves close collaboration with the creative, design, and marketing teams to understand project objectives, maintain brand consistency, and meet deadlines. The Video Editor will also help manage media assets, optimize files for different platforms, and contribute creative ideas to enhance overall video quality and audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with different formats and platforms.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across projects.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics for titles, lower thirds, animations, and visual effects.
• Graphics skills to collaborate effectively with designers and incorporate visual assets into video content.
• Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an eye for pacing, composition, and sound design.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, visual communication, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
