Job summary

Dainik Bhaskar Group in India is seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor to join the Entertainment team. You will edit for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Shorts and news platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro, focusing on hooks, pacing, thumbnails, captions, and audience retention.

You should have fast editing speed, strong storytelling, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic newsroom with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Entertainment News, Bollywood, OTT, celebrity culture, and trending topics.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of audience retention.
• Good music sense and the ability to use background scores effectively.
• Hands‑on experience in editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Shorts, and news platforms, with an understanding of how each platform requires a different editing style.
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, thumbnails, captions, and editing techniques that maximize reach and engagement.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools for video editing and content creation.
• Fast editing speed without compromising quality.
• Disciplined, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced newsroom.
• No issues with shift timings or rotational shifts.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments efficiently.
