Job summary

Iskcon Banglore is seeking an experienced video editor to lead narrative and conceptual editing across multi-platform campaigns. You will supervise end-to-end post-production, including color, sound, and transitions, ensuring high-quality storytelling.

The role requires strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, plus experience with AI-assisted editing tools. You will mentor junior editors and collaborate with directors and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in a production house, ad agency, D2C brand, or fast-paced digital media environment.

Responsibilities

• Narrative & Conceptual Editing: Translate scripts into engaging stories with pacing, emotional arcs, sound design, and flow.
• End-to-End Post-Production: Oversee raw footage assembly, multi-cam syncing, color grading, sound design, and transitions.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Create motion typography, lower-thirds, 2D/3D VFX, and animated callouts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with directors, writers, marketing, and design to match briefs and brand identity.
• Platform Optimization: Export formats for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn for max engagement.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide feedback to junior/mid editors and foster a collaborative team.
• Workflow & Asset Management: Establish best practices for file organization, rendering, backups, and asset management.

• Narrative & Conceptual Editing: Translate complex scripts, storyboards, and concepts into engaging visual stories, driving pacing, emotional arcs, sound design, and structural flow.
• End-to-End Post-Production: Oversee the full post-production lifecycle, including raw footage assembly, precise multi-cam syncing, color grading, sound mixing/design, and seamless transitions.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Create and integrate eye-catching motion typography, lower-thirds, 2D/3D visual effects, and animated callouts to enhance the clarity and appeal of content.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with directors, writers, marketing stakeholders, and design teams to ensure video content aligns with project briefs and overarching brand identity.
