Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience (agency, in-house, or studio experience preferred).
• A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing story structure, pacing, sound design, motion graphics, and color grading work.
• High mastery of industry-standard editing suites (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro.

Responsibilities

• Storytelling & Assembly: Edit compelling long-form and short-form video content for various audience touchpoints.
• Pacing & Flow: Structure video sequences with precise timing, rhythmic cuts, and smooth transitions.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create and integrate lower thirds, kinetic typography, title cards, transitions, and visual effects.
• Sound Design & Audio Mixing: Clean audio, balance background tracks, and incorporate SFX to enhance narrative quality.
• Visual Polish & Design: Apply color correction/grading, typography, and visual hierarchy to align with brand aesthetics.
• Collaboration: Work with creative directors, copywriters, and strategists to translate briefs into final media.

• Pacing & Flow: Structure video sequences with precise timing, rhythmic cuts, and smooth transitions to maintain audience engagement from start to finish.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create and integrate dynamic lower thirds, kinetic typography, title cards, dynamic transitions, and animated visual effects using After Effects.
• Sound Design & Audio Mixing: Clean audio, select background tracks, assemble sound effects (SFX), and balance audio mixes to enhance emotional impact and narrative quality.
• Visual Polish & Design: Apply design fundamentals—including color correction, color grading, visual hierarchy, grid layout, and typography to ensure high visual aesthetic and brand alignment.
• Collaboration: Partner with creative directors, copywriters, and content strategists to translate storyboards and briefs into finalized media.
