Job summary

RiseX Venturess is seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to collaborate with creative, strategy, and social media teams. You will edit AI-powered videos, UGC-style clips, reels, ads, and educational content, shaping narrative flow and visual storytelling.

You will refine color, integrate motion graphics, and optimize formats for each social platform while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production and editing for short- and long-form content.
• Proficiency in color grading and post-production to ensure consistent visual style.
• Ability to design and integrate motion graphics and brand-aligned visuals.
• Hands-on with industry-standard tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop).
• Understanding of social platforms and formats (IG, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok) for optimization.
• Portfolio of past video work required.

Responsibilities

• Edit a wide range of content, including AI-powered videos, UGC clips, reels, and ads.
• Assemble raw footage, refine narrative flow, and apply transitions and effects.
• Color grade, mix audio, and integrate motion graphics per brand guidelines.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Video Editor will collaborate with creative, strategy, and social media teams to edit a wide range of content, including AI-powered videos, UGC-style clips, reels, ads, educational content, and founder-led videos. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining narrative flow, selecting music and sound effects, applying transitions, color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements that align with brand guidelines. The role also involves optimizing video formats for different social platforms, maintaining organized asset libraries, and contributing creative ideas during ideation and scripting sessions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can balance creativity with deadlines and performance-driven content goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience creating short-form and long-form digital content.
• Proficiency in video color grading and basic post-production workflows to ensure consistent visual style and quality.
• Ability to design and integrate motion graphics and graphics that enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or equivalent).
• Understanding of social media platforms and formats (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and how to optimize content for each.
• Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and audio-visual synchronization, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, communication, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing past video work is required.
