Job summary

AVP/ Vice President/ SVP - Debt Syndication role based in India. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in debt syndication, fund-raising, project finance and structured financing.

You will lead debt transactions, build and nurture relationships with banks and financial institutions, originate and execute corporate and structured finance deals, and drive successful funding closures with lenders.

• Lead debt syndication transactions, including structuring and execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
• Originate and execute deals in corporate and structured finance.
• Negotiate and close funding agreements with lenders.
• Conduct credit analysis and due diligence.
• Raising / arranging capital and placement of debt securities to investors.
• Independently manage deal execution, including negotiat ion of terms and final documents.
• Communicate regulatory, financial information and complex issues clearly to guide transaction structure.
• Develop and maintain client networks across sectors and support client acquisition.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.

AVP/ Vice President/ SVP - Debt Syndication. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in debt syndication, fund-raising, project finance and structured financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead debt syndication transactions, including structuring and execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
• Originate and execute deals in corporate and structured finance.
• Negotiate and close funding agreements with lenders.
• Conduct credit analysis and due diligence.
• Raising / arranging capital and placement of debt securities to investors
• Work on a wide range of assignments/transactions, from ideation and initial client pitches through transaction closings, and other strategic advisory services.
• Independently managing deal execution for debt transactions including investor reachout and pitches, negotiation of terms, working with third-party service providers like lawyers, valuers, due- diligence agencies, etc, adv ise and finalization of definitive documents, closing, etc
• Communicate regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide transaction structure
• Ability to market services both to internal partners and external clients, develop and maintain client networks across various sectors, and support client acquisition efforts
• Develop and maintain relationships with Wholesale lenders Banks, NBFCs and Foreign lenders
• Conversant with handling corporate database and adherence to defined timelines for delivery
• Strong analytical abilities with knowledge of industry and companies
• Mentor and develop junior staff
