Job summary

HRD House in Pune hosts a senior R&D leadership role overseeing Formulation Development and Technology Transfer at its R&D center nearby. The candidate will shape the NPD portfolio, manage CDMO projects for domestic and international clients, and drive AI-enabled automation and digital transformation across the R&D workflow.

The role demands a strong background in OSD, Topical, Nasal Spray and Inhalation platforms, with deep knowledge of NDDS, QbD and global regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD with extensive R&D formulation experience in pharma.
• Specialization in OSD, Topical, Nasal Spray and Inhalation.
• Strong knowledge of NDDS, QbD, AI-enabled R&D and automation.
• Exposure to LIMS, ELN and digital laboratory systems.
• Knowledge of CTD/PIR and global regulatory requirements.
• Excellent strategic, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Head Formulation Development, Analytical Development and Technology Transfer.

• Oversee R&D Capex, Opex, budgets and resources.

• Candidate will be worked for reputed Pharma CO . at their R&D center near Pune. and will be head Formulation Development , Analytical Development and Technology Transfer.
• Candidate will be responsible for managing NPD, product portfolio and CDMO development projects for Domestic & International.
• Candidate will be responsible for managing R&D Capex, Opex, budgets and resources.
• Candidate will be responsible for driving AI,automation and digital transformation initiatives etc.
• Candidate will be responsible for ensuring GMP, QMS and global regulatory compliance.
• Candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, NDDS and differentiated technology development.
• Candidate will be responsible for client engagement, technical presentations and supporting Business Development.
• Candidate will be responsible for developing and mentoring R&D teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have M.Pharm OR Ph.D in Pharmaceutics OR Phramaceutical Science with 2025 years of Pharmaceutical R&D formulation experience in reputed pharma industry.
• Candidate should have expertise in OSD, Topical, Nasal Spray and Inhalation platforms.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of NDDS, QbD, AI-enabled R&D and automation.
• Candidate should have exposure to LIMS, ELN and digital laboratory systems.
• Candidate should have knowledge of CTD/PIR and global regulatory requirements.
