Job summary

HRD House is seeking an experienced R&D leader for its Mumbai centre to drive end-to-end development of clinical nutrition products, including enteral feeds, pediatric formulas, and disease-specific nutrition. You will align R&D strategy with corporate goals and international opportunities, while optimizing formulations and cost efficiency.

The role requires advanced degrees in nutrition or food tech and 10+ years in nutrition R&D with strong project governance and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• M.Pharma/M.Tech in Food Tech or PhD.
• 1012 years total experience in R&D in nutrition, Nutraceutical, fortified foods, clinical nutrition, or food ingredients and good in man management.
• Knowledge of export market requirements, international quality standards, and nutrition-related regulatory frameworks.
• Experience coordinating with technical/engineering consultants, site teams, and vendors for resolving technical issues and ensuring timely project execution.
• Developing and maintaining R&D governance systems, including dashboards for monitoring NPD pipelines, project timelines, cost optimization initiatives, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of the latest global advancements in clinical nutrition, food fortification, bioavailability enhancement technologies, and therapeutic nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new product development (NPD) for clinical nutrition products, including enteral feeds, pediatric formulas, disease-specific nutrition, and sports nutrition.
• Develop and own the R&D strategy roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and market opportunities (domestic and international).
• Drive formulation optimization initiatives to reduce costs without compromising nutritional value, quality, or regulatory compliance with effective man management.
• Standardize analytical testing methods, laboratory procedures, bench-scale trials, and scale-up protocols across all manufacturing locations.

• 1. Candidate will be based at R&D Centre of reputed Nutraceutical heading complete R&D Centre with innovation in company in Mumbai and will be responsible for Clinical Nutrition, Premix Solutions, and Therapeutic/Supplementary Foods.
• 2. Candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end new product development (NPD) process for clinical nutrition products, including enteral feeds, pediatric formulas, disease-specific nutrition, and sports nutrition.
• 3. Candidate will be responsible for developing and owning the R&D strategy roadmap aligned with the organization's corporate strategy and domestic as well as international market opportunities.
• 4. Candidate will be responsible for driving formulation optimization initiatives to reduce product costs without compromising nutritional value, product quality, or regulatory compliances with effective man management.
• 5. Candidate will be responsible for standardizing analytical testing methods, laboratory procedures, bench-scale trials, and scale-up protocols across all manufacturing locations.
