Vantrock is seeking a senior investment banking professional with deep real estate experience to prepare deals end to end, build models and manage investor materials. You will coordinate with domestic and overseas investors, develop platform knowledge around InvITs and REITs, and storyboard the investment case for rigorous diligence.
You will lead pitchbooks, investor communications and data rooms, ensuring materials survive investor scrutiny and timelines across time zones.
At Vantrock, capital follows the deal, never the other way around. Every asset therefore needs its own case, built to the standard an institutional investment committee expects. That means a model that holds under diligence, a book that tells the story in the order a decision is made, and a process that runs to close without every step landing on the founder.
This seat does that work. It is a hardcore investment banking seat inside an operating real assets platform. You prepare the deals, build the models and the pitchbooks, storyboard the case, and coordinate with investors and capital partners in India and overseas. You also do the groundwork for the platform's proposed InvIT and REIT pathways, which is why a working command of both vehicles is essential.
You should not apply if your recent years have been spent managing relationships while someone else built the model and the book. We are looking for the person who builds them.
AI proficiency is a standing requirement in every seat at Vantrock. You use AI tools daily as force multipliers, and you judge their output rather than forwarding it. This is tested for every appointment through a supervised assessment. There are no exceptions by seniority.
Partner command is the second standing requirement. Vantrock runs on outsourced partners, so every person here must be able to scope, brief, hold to an SLA, score and commercially discipline a partner, and must know what should never be delegated.
Vantrock benchmarks compensation against the upper quartile for the role and market, weighted toward equity for candidates who want to build with us long-term. We discuss specific numbers in the first conversation rather than anchoring either side prematurely.
We're building Vantrock over a decade, not a funding cycle. We're looking for people who treat technology as the default answer rather than a supplement, who want to be co-builders of the platform rather than employees executing instructions, and who are comfortable saying "I don't know" and "I was wrong." If you want a defined role with defined edges, this isn't the right seat. If you want to help build an institution from zero, it might be.
