Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a strategic finance leader to drive financial governance, reporting and control across a fast‑growing fintech environment. You will own the close cycle, implement robust controls, lead audits and tax compliance, and partner with founders on budgeting, forecasting and capital planning.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, treasury management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust financial systems, processes and internal controls that support the company’s rapid growth and scalability.
• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvements in accounting policies, governance and financial reporting quality.
• Lead statutory audits, internal audits and financial due diligence exercises.
• Ensure timely MIS reporting, financial reviews and audit closures.
• Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliances including GST, TDS and Income Tax.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations and other statutory requirements applicable to a regulated fintech.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and enterprise risk management processes.
• Manage treasury operations, liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting.
• Optimize working capital and capital allocation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Think strategically and proactively to drive finance initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with founders and business leaders on budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Build meaningful financial dashboards, KPIs and business insights that enable better decision-making.
• Support strategic initiatives including fundraising, expansion opportunities and financial due diligence.
• Manage relationships with investors, Board members, Big 4 auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Present financial information clearly and confidently to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Coordinate seamlessly across internal teams to ensure alignment on financial priorities.
• Drive finance transformation through automation, ERP optimization and AI-enabled finance processes.
