Job summary

Mpokket Financial Services seeks a Chartered Accountant to lead Finance & Accounts for our fintech business in India. You will drive financial strategy, regulatory compliance, treasury and fundraising while building a high-performing team.

You will own statutory reporting, RBI/NBFC compliance, board reporting and end-to-end audits, plus ERP upgrades and finance-process automation to enable growth and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in BFSI, NBFC or fintech.
  • Strong experience in statutory reporting, board/investor reporting and end-to-end audit management.
  • Strong exposure to RBI/NBFC regulations, treasury, liquidity management and fundraising or lender due diligence.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial planning/MIS tools and data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent people leadership, stakeholder influence and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own standalone and consolidated financial reporting under Ind AS and IFRS, including limited reviews and audit-ready books.
  • Drive annual budgeting, long-range financial planning and MIS; present performance, risks and outlook to leadership and the board.
  • Lead liquidity planning, borrowing programmes, lender engagement, ICAAP modelling and stress testing.
  • Own ICFR, finance risk indicators, controls and SOPs; act as the primary liaison for statutory, internal and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI, IRDAI and direct/indirect tax requirements and own regulatory filings.
  • Partner with business, product and risk teams on unit economics, pricing and portfolio profitability.
  • Support equity and debt fundraising, investor and lender due diligence, banks and rating agencies.
  • Lead, mentor and build a high-performing finance team.
  • Drive finance-process automation, ERP upgrades and reporting-tool transformation.

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function for our fintech business. This leadership role will drive financial strategy, regulatory compliance, treasury, fundraising and team capability while partnering with senior leadership on capital, risk and growth decisions.


Roles & Responsibilities

Preferred Candidate Profile
