Job summary

Virtusa in Bengaluru seeks a senior leadership professional with 20+ years of experience to own P&L and drive large-scale global telecom delivery programs. The role requires strategic thinking, multi-vendor coordination, and proven program management within complex, high-value engagements.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams across customer relationship management, engineering, budgets, and resource planning while shaping new offerings and ensuring client success at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20+ years of overall work experience.
• Experience managing P&L and delivery for global Telecom clients > $100M.
• Technically sophisticated and business savvy management professional with proven program and project management skills.
• Experience running a business segment including Customer relationship, Engineering management, Managing budgets, Resource management, leadership identification and grooming.
• Develop overall strategy, models, tools and action plans for new and current service offerings.
• Ability to mitigate risk and solve problems with innovative problem solving abilities.
• Experience in onsite offshore models & multi vendor set up.
• Oversee multiple project delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction for given large customer engagements.
• Experience in matrix organization.

• Minimum 20+ years of overall work experience
• Should have experience of managing P & L and delivery for global clients in Telecom domain to the extent of 100 mn $ and above
• Technically sophisticated and business savvy management professional with proven program and project management skills, proficient in managing widely diverse projects / programs within agreed cost and timelines.
• Experience in every aspect of running a business segment including Customer relationship, Engineering management, Managing budgets, Resource management, leadership identification and grooming
• Develop overall strategy, models, tools and action plans for new and current service offerings and ability to manage complex conflicts and resolutions
• Ability to mitigate risk and solve problems by using out-of-the-box thinking and innovative problem solving abilities
• Experience to onsite offshore models & multi vendor set up
• Oversee multiple project delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction for given large customer engagements.
• Experience in matrix organization (to be able to adopt and operate in)
