Job summary

NAB Global Innovation Centre India in Gurugram, India seeks a Vice President to lead programme governance across strategic change initiatives. You will drive scoping, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and delivery health with executive visibility.

The role requires 15–18 years in PMO leadership, governance, and delivery across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, plus tooling like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Power BI and MS Project. Banking/regulatory experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• 15–18 years of PMO/programme delivery experience in complex organisations.
• Strong command of integrated plans, RAID, change control and stage gates.
• Budgets, forecasts, actuals, workforce planning and vendor costs.
• Translate delivery data into concise dashboards and papers.
• Experience across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall and hybrid delivery with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps/Power BI/MS Project.
• Banking/regulated environment experience desirable.
• Influencing, facilitation, negotiation and coaching skills.

Purpose:

Establish and operate programme governance, controls and reporting across strategic change and BAU initiatives. Provide transparent oversight of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, benefits and delivery health. Enable accountable decision-making through clear forums, quality information, disciplined escalation and action tracking. Coordinate integrated planning across business, product, technology, operations, risk, finance and external partners. Drive consistent delivery standards, continuous improvement and executive-level communication across the portfolio.

Capability, Experience and Qualification requirements:

• Programme / PMO Leadership: 15-18 years of project, programme or portfolio delivery experience, including senior PMO leadership in complex organisations.
• Governance and Controls: Strong command of integrated plans, RAID, change control, stage gates, dependencies, benefits, assurance and governance cadence.
• Financial and Resource Management: Experience with budgets, forecasts, actuals, workforce plans, vendor costs and investment governance.
• Reporting and Insights: Ability to translate delivery data into concise executive dashboards, decision papers and clear recommendations.
• Delivery Methods and Tools: Practical experience across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall and hybrid delivery; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Power BI and MS Project.
• Risk and Regulatory Environment: Experience operating within banking, financial services or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Leadership Behaviours: Strong influencing, facilitation, negotiation, coaching and escalation skills; comfortable challenging constructively and driving closure

Qualification Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe, Agile, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification is desirable
