Description and Responsibilities

As the Vice General Manager of our India office, you will oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient running of the office.

• Strategic Planning: Associate with top management to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s long‑term goals in the Indian market.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed about TIC industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Innovation: Innovate solutions to overcome challenges.
• Operational Management: Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure high‑quality service delivery and compliance with industry standards. Implement and monitor performance metrics and identify and mitigate risks.
• Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the office budget, ensure financial targets are met, analyze financial reports, and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the company’s presence in India and South Asia. Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of concerns.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team. Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments and with the head office in China. Coach sales managers and monitor their performance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (other backgrounds welcome).
• Experience: 5–8 years of managerial experience within the inspection services industry, international trading, or related sectors such as Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipment, or Chemical Materials. Proven track record of managing operations and leading teams in a multinational environment.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management; excellent financial acumen (budgeting, analysis, strategic planning); outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; proactive strategic thinking and problem‑solving; fluency in English, written and verbal.
• Personal Attributes: High integrity and professionalism; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities; strong cultural awareness and adaptability in a diverse working environment.
