Job summary

VIBGYOR Group of Schools is seeking an admissions counselor to enhance student enrollment and retention. You will guide prospective parents on suitable curricula, explain board structures, and provide campus tours to showcase teaching initiatives.

You will support conversion efforts, assist with admission registrations, and address parent queries. Prior counselling experience in schools is an advantage, with emphasis on curriculum proficiency and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream with professional degree.
• B.Ed/M.Ed; candidates with professional certification in Pre-Primary/Primary/Secondary teaching may be considered.
• Prior experience in admission counselling for schools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Increase student enrollments and retain students in the school.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

Responsible for increasing student enrollments and retention of students in the school. The position provides guidance to prospective parents on appropriate curriculum selection for their ward.

• Support the Relationship Executive Cell in admission conversions and achieving enrollment targets.
• Orient and guide new parents on the curriculum framework offered by the school.
• Provide details of the board structure and the integrated curriculum offered by the school.
• Provides campus tours for prospective parents and provide guidance on the variety of teaching initiatives taken by the school.
• Advice parents individually and/or with groups regarding academic eligibility requirements, appropriate board selection, academic policies and delivery procedures,
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge about the Schools programs and requirements.
• Assist parents in admission registration, evaluate student admissibility and provide guidance on the admission process.

Addressing to existing parents queries and assisting in timely closure of the issue raised by them.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in any stream with professional degree.

(B.Ed/M.Ed). Candidates with professional certification in Pre- Primary/Primary/Secondary teaching may also be considered.

Prior experience in admission counselling for Schools will be an added advantage
