Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd invites a Vertical Head - EM to lead multitier dermatology, respiratory and nutraceutical marketing across EM regions, including APAC, Africa, MENA and LATAM. The role coordinates Rx marketing for LATAM markets such as Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico, driving growth and cross-functional collaboration.

You will guide strategic planning, portfolio lifecycle, and launch activities, mentoring teams and aligning regional and country strategies to achieve revenue

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience Pharmaceutical Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term therapy and brand strategies aligned with country / regional business objectives.
• Lead portfolio planning and lifecycle management across assigned therapy areas to drive sustainable growth.
• Identify market opportunities, competitive gaps, and growth drivers to strengthen market positioning.
• Ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and optimization of marketing strategies across focus markets.
• Develop annual marketing plans and country-specific growth strategies in partnership with commercial teams.
• Drive achievement of revenue, profitability, market share, and business growth objectives.
• Lead demand forecasting and marketing budget management for assigned portfolios.
• Monitor business performance through periodic reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Identify and assess new product opportunities across Emerging Markets.
• Develop launch strategies and commercialization plans for new products and indications.
• Ensure successful execution of pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities through cross-functional coordination.
• Develop differentiated marketing programs tailored to local market dynamics and customer needs.
• Strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and scientific societies.
• Leverage customer insights, market research, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decision-making.
• Enhance brand visibility and customer engagement through innovative and impactful marketing initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Country / Regional teams to drive business objectives.
• Ensure alignment between regional strategy and country-level execution.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration across geographies to maximize organizational effectiveness.
• Lead and inspire multicultural teams across international markets and headquarters.
• Build organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and talent development initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and execution excellence.
• Develop future leaders and strengthen succession planning within the function.

What will you do?

The Vertical Head role will be responsible fortherapies of Dermatology, Respiratory & Nutraceuticals across EM (APAC, Africa, MENA, & LatAm) and in terms of Geographies, the role will be responsible for co-ordinating the Rx. Marketing effort of Latin American markets (Peru, Ecuador, Columbia & Mexico)
