We are looking for a Sales Manager – Agency with 3–7 years of experience in General Insurance, Motor Insurance or Agency Sales. The ideal candidate is bringing strong expertise in agency/advisor management, agent recruitment and activation, and Private Car/Two-Wheeler insurance. The role is suited to a result-oriented professional with strong field sales, relationship management and business development skills.

Responsibilities

1. Driving agency sales and revenue targets for Private Car and Two-Wheeler insurance.
2. Recruiting, onboarding, training and activating Insurance Agents/Advisors to build a strong agency network.
3. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with agents to maximize business generation.
4. Driving new business through the agency channel and achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
5. Identifying potential markets and opportunities for expanding the agency network.
6. Conducting regular field visits, agent meetings and performance reviews to improve productivity.
7. Training agents on motor insurance products, sales techniques, processes and company guidelines.
8. Monitoring agent-wise performance, productivity, conversion ratios and business volumes.
9. Driving agent activation, retention, cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
10. Supporting agents in generating leads and converting them into Private Car and Two-Wheeler insurance policies.
11. Tracking competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements to strengthen sales strategies.
12. Coordinating with underwriting, operations, claims and internal teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing.
13. Ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements and defined sales processes.
14. Preparing and sharing regular sales MIS, forecasts and performance reports with management.

Requirements

1. Holding 3–7 years of experience in General Insurance, Motor Insurance or Agency Sales.
2. Having strong experience in the Agency/Advisor Channel.
3. Having exposure to Private Car and/or Two-Wheeler insurance.
4. Demonstrating proven experience in agent recruitment, activation and relationship management.

Possessing strong understanding of the motor insurance market and sales process
