The candidate will conduct supplier audits, assess capabilities, negotiate terms, and maintain a supplier database, focusing on continuous improvements in quality, delivery and cost.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors for mechanical components as per quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality and production teams for vendor approval and part development.
• Conduct vendor audits, capability assessment and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate pricing, lead time and commercial terms to achieve cost optimization.
• Follow up for sample development, PPAP submission and timely production supply.
• Maintain vendor database and work on continuous improvement in quality, delivery and cost.
